  • A Whole Nother Story

Dr. Cuthbert Soup, Jeffrey Stewart Timmins

Paperback (Bloomsbury USA Childrens, Sept. 28, 2010)
Mr. Cheeseman, his three relatively odor-free children, a psychic hairless dog, and a sock puppet named Steve are on the run. Why? Because Mr. Cheeseman invented a time machine, of course. Now they're being chased by international super spies, top secret government agents, and a genius monkey. Dr. Cuthbert Soup, the head of the Center of Unsolicited Advice, narrates this wild adventure that will lead readers straight into next season's sequel: Another Whole Nother Story.

  • Another Whole Nother Story

    Dr. Cuthbert Soup

Paperback (Bloomsbury USA Childrens, Feb. 14, 2012)
The plan was simple. Ethan Cheeseman, along with his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children, would travel back in time to save their mother and end an ancient family curse. With their super-secret time machine, it should be easy peasy. Except for one basic rule of science: Murphy's Law, where everything that possibly could go wrong, does. Loved by both critics and kids, the hilarious Dr. Soup brings us another madcap adventure, this time through stormy seas and haunted castles.

  • No Other Story

    Dr. Cuthbert Soup

Paperback (Bloomsbury USA Childrens, Sept. 3, 2013)
The Cheeseman family is back from back-in-time. In other words, they're in the present time. Well, presently, at least. They're soon to journey back again-only just a few years this time-to save the life of their beloved mother. But when Mr. Cheeseman and his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children get to the not-so-distant-past, they meet something utterly surprising. Something wilder than anything they've seen before -- including cowboy poets and good-natured pirates. They are about to meet . . . The alternate versions of themselves! Old and new fans won't want to miss this surprising and hilarious page turner of a book. A Whole Nother Story was good. Another Whole Nother Story was better. But No Other Story is the best (plus it's got a shorter title).

It's got dinosaurs and Vikings and jumbo jets, all in one place, at one time. Luckily, it's not a long time before the family is back on course again. And just as they're about to rescue their mother at last, the kids confront something utterly surprising. Something wilder than dinosaurs, Vikings, or jumbo jets. • A Whole Nother Story

Dr. Cuthbert Soup, Jeffrey Stewart Timmins

Hardcover (Bloomsbury USA Childrens, Jan. 1, 2010)
The three Cheeseman children, their father, and their psychic dog are all on the run. From whom? Well the CIA, naturally. But also corporate agents #5, #29, and # 207, plus two international superspies -- one of whom happens to be a chimpanzee. They all want Dr. Cheeseman and his late wife's greatest invention–a machine with unspeakable powers–OK, I'll say it. It's a time machine. But it's not working right yet, so put all ideas of time travel out of your head.Instead, please enjoy this high stakes, high action, hijinx-filled chase, and the bizarre characters our Cheeseman friends will meet as they protect not just their parents' invention, but their mother's sacred memory. It's an adventure novel like no other. Oh yeah, and did we mention the entertaining, plot-exposition filled, unsolicited advice you'll receive along the way? So you didn't ask for it? Yeah, that's why it's unsolicited. Unsolicited Advice #1: Read this book.

  • Another Whole Nother Story

    Dr. Cuthbert Soup

Hardcover (Bloomsbury USA Childrens, Dec. 7, 2010)
The plan was simple. Ethan Cheeseman, along with his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children, would travel back in time to end an ancient family curse and save their mother. Now that the LVR (a super-secret time machine) is in working order, it should be easy peasy. Except they didn't account for one basic rule of science: Murphy's Law, where everything that possibly could go wrong, does. So the Cheeseman family finds themselves on another madcap adventure, this time through stormy seas and haunted castles. And though their narrator, Dr. Soup, has a ton of unsolicited advice to offer young readers, he doesn't have much to say to help the Cheesemans. Just this one thing: Good luck!

  • Another Whole Nother Story

    Dr. Cuthbert Soup, Dick Hill

Audio CD (Brilliance Audio, Feb. 14, 2012)
The plan was simple. Ethan Cheeseman, along with his three smart, polite, and relatively odor-free children, would travel back in time to end a family curse and save their mother. Now that the LVR (a super-secret time machine) is working, it’s easy peasy. Except they didn’t account for one basic rule of science: Murphy’s Law ― if something can go wrong, it will. The LVR crashes, with a meteor-sized hole in its roof. They’ve made it to 1668, but they’re stuck in the middle of nowhere, without a way back home, and someone thinks they’re weetches ― er, witches. Could it get any worse? How about when they encounter a pirate ship, a haunted castle, and two mysterious visitors ― one there to rescue the family, the other, mmm . . . not so much. Our trusty narrator, Dr. Soup, has a ton of unsolicited advice for listeners but not a lot to say to help the Cheesemans. Just this one thing: GOOD LUCK.
